Lux Mundi

Lux Mundi(拉丁文)Light of the World 原意是“世上的光”。 Lux(光),Mundi(世界)。它来源于新约圣经:耶稣告诫门徒:“你们是世上的光。”他还说,“城造在山上,是不能隐藏的。人点灯,不放在斗底下,是放在灯台上,就照亮了一家的人。”(马太福音5:14-15

另外Lux Mundi又有很深刻的神学内涵。 最初它是由一组牛津大学的神学家撰写的十二篇系列神学论文–Lux Mundi: A Series of Studies in the Religion of the Incarnation。此书1889年出版,英国圣公会牛津主教查尔斯戈尔 (Charles Gore)是该论文集的总编辑。很快它发展成为普世圣公会的一个重要的神学学派。 它的主旨是为了使基督教在面对现代科学技术的发展和与时俱进的社会伦理的挑战中,立于不败之地。

Lux Mundi Ministry International

It is a Christian non-profit organization based in Sweden, committing to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to overseas Chinese scholars and students through light-love witness and new approaches of evangelism. It is founded by a group of overseas Chinese Christian students and led by Rev. Jonathan J.R. LI. The main founding members currently study, work, and live in Nordic countries(Sweden, Finland, Norway), North American (USA, Canada), Continental Europe (Belgium, Germany), and mainland China.
